Lead your many allied units in the battle, and destroy the enemy in a realtime simulation environment.
There is a shooting element to the game whereby the player can participate in the battle directly.
The game is divided into Armament Phase and Combat Phase.
In the Armament Phase, you prepare your forces and recoup losses from the previous battle, and in Combat Phase you fight.

Statistics |
TERRITORY | The current amount of territory you control. This value raises when you win battles and lowers when you lose them. The higher this value, the tougher enemies become. |
WAR POTENTIALS | Your battle power. With it you can buy new units or power them up. It is essentially the equivalent of money. |
FRIEND UNITS | The total number of friendly units. Your own unit is included in this number. This number increases when you resupply after battle, or when you buy new units. |
FRIEND SHIPS | The total number of friendly battleships. Depending on the number and types of battleships you have, the total number of units that can participate in a single battle changes. |
WARS | Number of battles |
NEXT BATTLE FORMATION | Displays an image of the upcoming battle. Blue indicates the position of your own units, while red indicates the position of enemy units. |
The commands are displayed at the bottom of the screen.
The function of each available command is as follows:
Armament Phase Options |
WEAPON | Change your primary weapon. The weapons each character can equip differ. You can cycle through the available weapons with the left and right keys. |
PILOT | Change your pilot. The left and right keys cycle through the available pilots. |
SUBWEAPON | Change your secondary weapon. The sub-weapons each character can equip differ. You can cycle through the available sub-weapons with the left and right keys |
S-SYSTEM | Change your support system. Cycle through each choice with the left and right keys. |
BUY UNITS | Buy units and battleships. Each individual unit costs 50. |
IMPROVE | Buy power-ups. There are 5 different power-ups: WEAPON (attack power), ARMOR (unit lasting power, speed, and energy recharge), FRIEND UNITS (allied units lasting power and attack power) CAPACITY (the maximum number of units you can hold), and DEVELOPMENT (speed of developing new weapons) |
STATUS | Go to the status screen. |
BACKDOWN | Withdraw your forces (TERRITORY -5). You will restock your units and get two new battleships. If there is no room for new battleships in your forces, you will get 10,000 battle power for each that will fit. In addition, your pilots' units will be healed of all damage. |
PHASE SHIFT | Move to Combat Phase. However, if the pilot you have selected has more than 50 damage to their unit, you cannot enter battle. You need to pick another pilot in that case. |
List of Sub-Weapons |
ION BLASTER | A high-powered ion beam. |
MACRO MISSILE | A large missile that splits and scatters small explosive missiles throughout the area. |
VULCAN | A gatling-gun with a high rate of fire. |

INCREASE ARMOR | Armor to negate the effect of ballistic weapons. While active, it has a small drain on energy. |
ACCELERATOR | Increases the speed of energy recovery. While active, it lowers the efficiency of the unit's cooling system. |
Buying Battleships
Sect the battleship you want when buying or selling each type of vessel.

When you pick a battleship, its statistics are displayed.
Taking the cost into consideration, decide whether or not you want to buy it.
Battleship Data |
DEPLOYMENT | The battleship unit's deployment level. The maximum number of units you can deploy in a single battle is calculated from your fleet's Deployment levels. |
EJECTION | The speed at which a battleship can launch. |
FIGHTING | The attack power of the battleship. Aircraft carriers and transport vessels only have anti-aircraft weapons, but main warships can use primary cannons. |
DEFENSE | The battleship's lasting power. |
EWhile it is not displayed in the statistics screen, each ship has its own separate movement speed. |
The sell price and buying price for each battleship is the same. You can experiment with various different formations before commiting yourself without risk.

EThe Special commands work for all ships of the same type.
EYou can only use each command type once per battle.
The Status Screen
You can save or load game data here.
You can also see each type of play data.

The left side shows the titles you have gained so far.
The right side shows how often you use each character and your accomplishments.
The up and down keys pick options, and Button one makes your selection.
Combat Phase
You win Combat Phase if you eliminate the enemy or make them retreat.
If your allies are wiped out or retreat, then you lose.
After Combat Phase is over, pilots not participating in the fight have their units healed 40%, and those that did participate are only healed 10%. If a unit is damaged at 50% or above, then it cannot participate in the next battle.

@P@ | Status. From the top it shows the player's surplus energy gauge, structural integrity gauge, the generator's heat gague, and below that it has a simple battle forces balance gauge. The number on the balance gauge indicates the total number of units. From the left, it displays the number of units launched, maximum number of units that can be launched simultaneously, number of units waiting, and the number on the right side indicates the enemy's total number of units participating in battle. The final gauge indicates the balance of power between the forces. |
@Q@ | The enemy's and your areas of influence. Blue indicates your own forces, and red, the enemy. |
@R@ | Mouse Cursor. It is normally hidden, but when you right-click it is displayed. Let go of the right button and after a set period the cursor will disappear. |
@S@ | When you pick a battleship with the mouse, a line will be drawn between it and the mouse cursor. This is the path on which the battleship will move. The green gauge is its structural integrity. |
Use of a joypad is recommended.

Information on the Battle System
Critical Hits
Normally, critical hits are dealt when a unit is shot from behind.
Critical hits do double danage.
Penetrating weapons do not deal critical hits.
These rules apply to any non-battleship unit.
Escort Units
Depending on the number of times a pilot has participated in battle, escort units will accompany the player.
Escort units are powerful allies, equipped with high-speed beam guns and missiles.
Special Weapons
You can use Button 7 to fire Special weapons, but they take a lot of energy to use.
In addition it puts a large burden on the generator, so the more powerful the weapon, the more difficult it is to fire continuously.
Cooling Device
The Cooling Device reduces the heat produced by the generator.
When in the Red Zone, it has a bad effect on energy resupply and cooling.
Enemy Reinforcements
In the latter half of the game, enemies will sometimes bring in reinforcements.
As they can appear suddenly, it is important to always be ready to repel them.
Hints
Attack from the edges Attack the enemy where their forces are spread thin, and cut off their battleships. Look over the map, and attack areas where there are few battleships.
Don't move rashly When the player moves away from escort units, they will follow. If the player keeps moving, the escorts will not be able to attack sufficiently.
Keep to formation It is better to keep allied battleships concentrated in one area. If they are spread out they won't be as effective, and will get destroyed individually.
Utilize penetrating attacks You can turn the battle in your favor by defeating enemy battleships. With long-range penetrating weapons like the Mass Driver Cannon or Buster Cannon, you can fire on enemy battleships from a safe distance.
Use BACKDOWN effectively. You can manipulate difficulty by choosing to BACKDOWN. At about 60%, battles become much more difficult, so if you cannot win, you can BACKDOWN and save money.
Keep balance in mind when powering-up Keep your total number of units and your units' powerups as a top priority. But if you invest in your player's unit, then it will be easier to use effectively and can by extension improve your entire forces' effectiveness.
